What does it mean to be a “member” of Tabor?

The “members” of Tabor Church are those who have officially recognized one another as brothers and sisters in Christ and committed themselves to be brothers and sisters in Christ to one another, as described in the Word.  Every believer in Jesus Christ is made a member of the Body of Christ by the Spirit and called to use their gifts for the good of the Body.  The “members” of Tabor are those who have made this known publically so that other members can count on their joint participation as a local body.  Some Christ-followers who are not (yet) members of Tabor worship with us regularly and participate with us in many functions, and they are more than welcome to do so.  We will encourage them to declare their faith openly, link arms with us in service, and join us as members.
